Designed by Verner Panton in the 1960s, this chair was the first model of furniture to be made in one piece. Its shape was inspired by aerodynamics and the model became one of the most iconic examples of the 21st century. Since then, it has received numerous awards. One of the earliest models of this chair is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
